Our Journey September issue here

In the September issue of Our Journey, learn about ways Northern Lakes is improving the ways it can help people in the community in a mental health crisis. We received a grant to provide secure iPads to police officers so they can help connect people in a mental health crisis to a mental health crisis specialist in real time on the scene. There is also a new FAST program, providing mobile crisis services out in the community to children and youth in crisis. (FAST stands for Family Assessment and Safety Team.)  September is Suicide Prevention Month with many activities and special events. There is also a call for art entries for the 12th Annual Art of Recovery Show, coming in October.
