New NLCMHA Crisis Welcoming Center coming

We are working on preparations to open the NLCMHA Crisis Welcoming Center, which will be a new point of access in the crisis continuum of care. We will welcome people of all ages from across our six counties (Crawford, Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Missaukee, Roscommon, Wexford), regardless of insurance or ability to pay.

The NLCMHA Crisis Welcoming Center will be located on the first floor of Northern Lakes’ office at 105 Hall Street in Traverse City. Currently the space is being renovated and staff are being hired. When hiring has reached a sufficient level, we will open the new service for the benefit of the community, hopefully later this spring. The hours may be limited at first. Ultimately we plan for the facility to be open 24/7.
