“We’re always expanding and looking for ways to better meet the needs of the community and our consumers,” said Rebecca Vincent, Northern Lakes CMH Director of Managed and Integrated Health Care.
A special announcement at the new Northern Lakes Community Mental Health Integrated Health Clinic in Traverse City.
They will now be open five days a week and be available to anyone in the community who needs primary health care.
There were more than 150 people at the open house Tuesday night.
It gave the community a chance to see the clinic’s facilities, get health information, see displays and activities as well as meet the new staff.
The clinic can now provide physical and mental health care to people of all ages.
“It will help provide good quality care for people who haven’t been able to find a provider, and or maintain their provider,” said Vincent. “Sometimes our consumers have chaotic lives cut so this just opens an opportunity for consumers and people in the community to have a choice where they want to go for treatment.”
The clinic is now accepting new patients.
