Community Connects Event – CANCELED

We are canceling the free “Community Connects” program on Monday, March 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Leelanau Studios (10781 E Cherry Bend Rd, Traverse City) because of the COVID-19 virus in order to help people safe. We hope to reschedule this event in April. Come back for updates.

 

In the meantime here is what will be in store for when we are able to reschedule:

Community Connects is a learning opportunity on making connections in the community.

The theme is Building Relationships in the Community. The theme centers on “What do you have to offer to your community,” “What strengths do you have that are valuable,” as well as where to build relationships in areas that interest you.

There will be a presentation about Traverse House Clubhouse and peer support.

There will also be a short movie shown featuring Kevin Hines, who lived after jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge, with discussion afterward.

Lunch will be provided by Traverse House Clubhouse. The event is free and no registration is needed. This is a safe place and it is open to everyone. All are welcome.
