The 17th Annual Art of Recovery: The Human Journey Show is completed!
Lots of wonderful entries were submitted for the show this year.
Thank you to the Traverse Area District Library for hosting the show and congratulations to all the artists who extended themselves and showed that recovery is possible.
We have heard over and over that this show empowers us! It demonstrates that NO MATTER WHAT the challenge – mental illness, substance abuse, grief, loss, domestic violence, divorce – we all have struggles sometimes and we are resilient people who are all in this journey together. Sometimes people are filled with relief to see that they are not alone and realize that others have grappled with similar challenges and experienced some of the same things they do.
To all the artists who submitted work – unsold entries have been delivered to the CMH office where you submitted. Please try to pick up your work as soon as you can.
To all who purchased art – if you haven’t already, please call 231-935-3099 to make arrangements for payment and pick up of your art.
