Free Suicide Prevention Training Sept 29
A free suicide prevention training —American Foundation for Suicide Prevention 101 (AFSP 101)— will be held on September 29 from 2-5:00 p.m. at the Northern Lakes CMH Traverse City office at 105 Hall Street. Everyone in the community is invited to attend.
Participants will receive area resource information and interact with experts to learn how our community can support people who are experiencing challenges with their mental health.
This training is designed to assist participants in learning more about the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and our local chapter. In addition, everyone will walk away from this presentation with a working knowledge of all things AFSP and will be better equipped to become an ambassador for AFSP Michigan.
